When I do what I like to do most
2018 | Performance | 15 minutes
In When I do what I like to do most Beckers recalls when he was once accused by a friend of never helping other people. After reluctantly agreeing that his friend is somewhat right, he uses the performance to explain why he is rarely helpful. With the use of objects and songs he put these reasons into practice to convince the audience of their validity.
“I would rather have people getting angry with me for not being helpful, than people getting angry with me for being helpful while they weren’t in need of any help. And that’s reason number two why I rarely help people. ”
